This article is a sequel to:
The David Eby Confession: Premier Eby talking to the ‘Condo King’ Bob Rennie, finally spilled the beans in front of the camera, on how UDI lobbying played key role in the creation of the Provincial Housing Bills. – CRD Watch Homepage
The original David Eby confession article followed an earlier article:
David Eby Before and After: How David Eby’s former criticisms of the political influence of the so-called ‘Condo King’ of Vancouver Bob Rennie, when Eby was a member of the opposition; turned once in power, to Eby becoming Rennie’s political follower. – CRD Watch Homepage

To continue where we left off in part one:
Bob Rennie the so-called Condo-King , at a UDI development lobby event at the Hyatt, heavily subsidized by the taxpayer, asked Premier Eby for the provincial government to adopt a real estate czar, offering former Mayor of Vancouver Larry Campbell as a potential candidate.

We take off, where we left off at the 46:54 time point in in the video: A Conversation with Premier David Eby & Bob Rennie on Vimeo (Again, I have this backed-up if it goes down). Once again the subtitles are from Vimeo and are not always accurate. I’ve added some edits by text below the slides, but these edits are by no means all the edits needed to be complete. In the section covered here in part 2, Eby responded to Rennie’s comments by affirming the development industry’s access to him as Premier, and his government’s partnership with it. He and Rennie then discussed Rennie’s suggestion of a potential real estate czar, breaking away from the theme of such a proposed czar intervening on local governmental decisions around housing/zoning etc., which were part of the first part of their discussion, which was covered in part 1 of this article.
The subsequent discussions that arose, would focus on the impact of addiction and mental health, and then onto the status of legal decisions around First Nations and rights of private property owners, then onto Eby and Rennie complaining about the Heritage Act as an obstacle to builders.

Eby then responded:

With the above comment the Premier appears to be referring to Bill 46
Development finance – Province of British Columbia

Rennie responded:

ZR = Czar

“And she said to me, there has to be another effin NDP other than Joy MacPhail”

Was Rennie referring to the upcoming Bill M216?
