Is the UDI hiding its 2024-2025 Annual Report from the public?
Google: “the Urban Development Institute (UDI) does not appear to have a publicly available 2024-2025 annual report.”
“The overall Annual Report for 2024-2025 is not readily available on their website.”
Previously, the UDI’s annual reports were typically released in May after their the Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Update: In late June the UDI finally released its 2024-2025 Annual Report, which contained 25 pages. The 2023-2024 report contained 34 pages in comparison.

For the last 2 decades, the UDI released its annual reports on its websites. The Annual Reports provided valuable glimpses at their lobbying activities to the various levels of government. Many of these Annual Reports were removed from public view in 2023, when the UDI branch websites were pulled down and replaced by a single website UDI.org.
Now it appears that the UDI (Urban Development Institute) a registered lobbying organization on the BC Lobbyists Registry has stopped publicly releasing its annual reports altogether.
On June 13, 2025 I asked Google the following question:
Where is the UDI’s 2024-2025 Annual Report?
Google AI Overview: “The Urban Development Institute (UDI) does not appear to have a publicly available 2024-2025 annual report.”
“The most recent annual report found is for the 2023-2024 period, according to the UDI website. It is available as a PDF download.
The UDI’s focus is on advocacy and providing resources for its members. They often release submissions and updates related to specific projects and policies, but the overall annual report for 2024-2025 is not readily available on their website.”
